Which Lenders Have Passed on the RBA Rate Cut?

When the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) cuts rates, borrowers hope for lower repayments. Lower interest means welcome savings for many.

The RBA has just cut rates again. On 12 August 2025, the cash rate was lowered yet again. It is now at 3.60%, a further 0.25% reduction.

If you have a $700,000 variable rate home or investment loan of 30 years, it will translate to $110 reduction in your minimum monthly repayments or $1,320 a year (all amounts in AUD).

While some lenders pass on cuts quickly, others don’t. So, which lenders passed on the recent RBA rate cut? Which ones are holding out? Let’s dive in.

Which Lenders Have Passed on the RBA Rate Cut?

The table below shows which lenders passed on the RBA cash rate cut as of August 2025.

Even if lenders pass on the rate cut, check your repayments. They may not adjust automatically. Lenders typically offer a choice. You can maintain current repayments or lower them.
